With many EMC tests, it is absolutely necessary to carry them out in a protected (shielded) environment. The principle of the Faraday cage is used for this. A room is lined with metal or a free-standing structure is built. In order to obtain a noise level-free interior, it is important to use the highest precision during assembly. This also applies to the interfaces to the outside world such as doors and various bushings. The size of the shielded cabins depends on the standards and the test specific dimensions.
